Airswift are a Global Manpower Provider specialising in the Energy, Infrastructure & IT sectors. We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source a Construction Lead (CP7 S Piping). This is a long-term contract role.
The role is based in Qatar Offshore with a working schedule of 7 days per week / 12 hours per day – 28 ON / 28 OFF.
Key Responsibilities Accountable for offshore safety to promote a safe work environment Accountable for offshore quality to support flawless delivery and start-up Stewarding and facilitating CTR to deliver safely and as per schedule PMT offshore focal point for Piping and Mechanical related TQs Support PTW and offshore daily progress and PTW meetings with CTR Support offshore HU Head as required Attend HU meetings / document reviews / risk assessments etc as required Experience Required 8 years’ experience with Large Projects in Construction related disciplines (e.g., construction, installation, fabrication, execution, completion, hook-up, etc.) in the Oil & Gas Industry, including 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, including acting roles, or oversight of service/vendor personnel. Experience with Oil and Gas companies, contractors, service companies, or heavy construction companies. Knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria related to major fabrication, transport, installation, brownfield execution, and hook-up, as applicable to the project scope. Knowledge of offshore facilities and structures, onshore facilities, or yard operations as applicable to a project scope. Knowledge of execution methods and risks associated with sour gas and LNG production facilities. Experience working in large scale operating organizations in Operations, Projects, Subsurface, etc. Education QualificationsBachelors Degree in Sciences or Engineering.
