Job Summary
The Construction Manager is responsible for planning coordinating and overseeing all construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely on time within budget and according to quality standards. The role involves managing site operations contractors resources and project teams while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan organize and supervise day-to-day construction activities.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed as per schedule.
- Coordinate with clients consultants subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage project budgets costs and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations quality standards and company policies.
- Review construction drawings specifications and project documentation.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or operational issues.
- Track project milestones and prepare progress reports for management.
- Manage and supervise site engineers supervisors and contractors.
- Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials equipment and manpower.
- Identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
- Handle project handover activities and ensure client satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering Construction Management or a related field.
- Minimum 8-15 years of experience in construction/project management.
- Experience in residential commercial industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies safety practices and quality standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office MS Project Primavera or other project management software.
