Provide front line safety and technical leadership. Ensuring and assuring safe effective and efficient execution of Electrical installation activities in accordance with the project schedule and compliance to safety, quality and technical policies procedures and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide visible safety leadership and promote a safety-first culture.
- Review and comment on Electrical technical and project documents.
- Ensure compliance with Company and contractual policies, regulations, and standards.
- Engage Contractors on schedule, technical, cost, and contractual matters.
- Maintain effective communication with Contractor and Company functional teams.
- Participate in planning and risk assessment meetings; support schedule mitigation.
- Ensure Contractor maintains safety standards through daily/weekly site walk-throughs.
- Attend workface planning, safety meetings, and toolbox talks.
- Monitor schedule compliance, construction constraints, and mitigation actions.
- Review Contractor daily, weekly, and monthly reports and verify progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science or Engineering.
- 8 years' Oil & Gas large-project construction experience.
- 1 year in a supervisory/oversight role.
Skills and Competencies
- Oil & Gas, contractor, service, or heavy construction experience.
- Knowledge of relevant design standards, codes, specifications, and safety criteria.
- Knowledge of offshore/onshore facilities and yard operations.
- Knowledge of execution methods and risks for sour gas and LNG facilities.
- Experience in large-scale Operations, Projects, or Subsurface organizations.
