We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent (Electrical) to provide frontline safety and technical leadership for major Oil & Gas construction projects in Qatar. The successful candidate will oversee Electrical installation activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution in accordance with project schedules, company standards, and contractual requirements. This role requires strong field construction experience, contractor management expertise, and the ability to drive project milestones through effective stakeholder engagement and leadership. Key Responsibilities Provide visible safety leadership and promote a safety-first culture across all construction activities. Supervise and coordinate Electrical installation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and procedures. Review and provide comments on Electrical technical documents and contractor submissions. Monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to project schedules, quality requirements, and HSE standards. Participate in construction planning, risk assessments, workface planning, and toolbox talks. Identify construction constraints and collaborate with contractors to implement mitigation plans. Maintain strong working relationships with Engineering, Quality, Safety, Operations, and Contractor teams. Review and verify daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports from contractors. Ensure effective management of interfaces between multiple disciplines and stakeholders. Drive construction activities toward successful Mechanical Completion and project milestones. Requirements Education Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Sciences. Experience Minimum 8 years of experience in major Oil & Gas construction projects. Experience in: Electrical Construction Installation Fabrication Hook-Up Mechanical Completion Project Execution Minimum 1 year in a supervisory, lead, or oversight role. Experience managing EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and service companies. Experience on large-scale LNG, Gas Processing, Petrochemical, or Energy projects is highly preferred.
