Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage benign hematological conditions including anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, and bleeding disorders.
- Interpret bone marrow biopsies, peripheral blood smears, and laboratory investigations.
- Collaborate with internal medicine, oncology, and transfusion services for integrated patient care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical case discussions.
- Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
- Engage in teaching and mentoring junior doctors and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare standards.
Ideal Profile
- Medical degree with specialization in Hematology.
- Board certification such as CCT, FRCP, FRCPath, or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in benign hematology.
- Eligibility for DHA licensing or equivalent authority.
- Strong diagnostic and clinical management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
