Consultant Pediatric Neurologist – Child Neurology in Dubai, United Arab Emirates is a specialized Hospital and Health Care opportunity for an experienced physician focused on neurological disorders affecting infants, children, and adolescents. This role is suited for a consultant‑level pediatric neurology specialist who can deliver evidence‑based diagnosis, treatment planning, family counseling, and long‑term neurological care within a modern multidisciplinary hospital setting. The position involves managing complex pediatric neurology cases, including epilepsy, developmental delays, neuromuscular disorders, movement disorders, headaches, and neurogenetic conditions. The successful candidate will work closely with pediatricians, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation teams, psychologists, and allied healthcare professionals to improve clinical outcomes and support children and families through clear, compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage pediatric neurological disorders, including epilepsy, developmental delay, neuromuscular disease, headaches, movement disorders, and neurogenetic conditions.
- Conduct detailed neurological assessments for infants, children, and adolescents using clinical history, physical examination, and diagnostic findings.
- Interpret EEG, MRI, CT, and other neurophysiological investigations to support accurate diagnosis and treatment decisions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and long‑term care strategies for children with acute, chronic, and complex neurological conditions.
- Manage both inpatient and outpatient pediatric neurology cases in line with hospital protocols and international clinical standards.
- Coordinate care with pediatricians, neurosurgeons, rehabilitation specialists, psychologists, therapists, nurses, and other multidisciplinary teams.
- Provide clear counseling to parents and families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, medication plans, prognosis, and follow‑up care.
- Support epilepsy management, pediatric neurophysiology services, and multidisciplinary pediatric neuroscience programs.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with DHA regulations, hospital policies, and clinical governance standards.
- Participate in clinical audits, research activities, academic discussions, conferences, and continuing medical education programmes.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and keep updated with new developments in pediatric neurology and child neuroscience.
Ideal Profile
- MBBS, MD, or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Board Certification or Fellowship in Pediatric Neurology.
- Valid DHA Consultant License or eligibility for Consultant Pediatric Neurology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Pediatric Neurologist in a reputed tertiary‑care or academic hospital.
- Strong experience in epilepsy, pediatric neurophysiology, developmental neurology, neuromuscular disorders, and neurogenetic conditions.
- Ability to interpret EEG, MRI, CT, and related neurodiagnostic studies.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary pediatric neuroscience or specialist children's health programmes.
- Research publications, academic involvement, or conference participation will be an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, communication, counseling, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural healthcare environment.
