Role Context
This role focuses on providing comprehensive rehabilitation services through multidisciplinary collaboration, utilizing modern techniques and evidence-based practices to optimize patient recovery and long-term wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with physical impairments and disabilities.
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation treatment plans.
- Utilize therapies including exercise, manual therapy, and assistive technologies.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including therapists and psychologists.
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation, prevention, and long-term care strategies.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to healthcare standards.
Ideal Profile
- Medical degree with specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
- Board certification in PM&R.
- Minimum 5 years of consultant-level experience.
- Eligibility for DHA Consultant licensure.
- Strong knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and best practices.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
