Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage critically ill patients in the ICU, including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced life support
- Diagnose and treat complex pulmonary conditions such as ARDS, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary hypertension
- Perform advanced procedures including bronchoscopy, EBUS, thoracentesis, and central venous access
- Collaborate with anesthesiology, cardiology, infectious disease, emergency medicine, and other specialties for coordinated care
- Participate in clinical governance, protocol development, and quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor junior physicians and contribute to CME programs, teaching, and academic activities
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Ideal Profile
- American Board of Internal Medicine certification with subspecialty certification in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
- Minimum 5-7 years of post-board experience in a tertiary or academic hospital setting
- DHA license or eligibility to practice in Dubai
- Demonstrated expertise in managing high-acuity ICU cases and advanced pulmonary diagnostics
- Strong leadership, communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills
