Content Creator

The Content Creator is responsible for creating compelling visual and digital content that showcases the hotel's luxury experiences, enhances brand awareness, and supports the hotel's commercial objectives across all marketing channels. The role plans, captures, edits, and publishes high-quality photography, videography, and written content that reflects the hotel's brand identity while promoting rooms, dining venues, spa, events, and guest experiences.

A. Job Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Photography, Videography, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in content creation, digital marketing, social media management, or a similar role, preferably within the luxury hospitality industry.
• Strong photography and videography skills, including lighting, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, After Effects) or equivalent editing software.
• Experience managing social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Excellent copywriting, communication, and storytelling skills.
• Strong understanding of current digital marketing trends and social media best practices.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English. Additional languages are an advantage.

B. Key Areas of Responsibility

1. Content Creation

• Plan, capture, produce, and edit high-quality photography and videography showcasing the hotel's rooms, suites, restaurants, bars, spa, events, and guest experiences.
• Develop creative concepts and visual storytelling that align with the hotel's brand identity and marketing objectives.
• Produce engaging content for social media, website, digital advertising, email marketing, and other promotional platforms.
• Write compelling captions, promotional copy, and digital content that reflect the hotel's tone of voice.
• Ensure all content is accurate, creative, and fully aligned with brand standards.
• Coordinate and execute seasonal campaigns, promotional shoots, and event coverage.
• Maintain and organize a comprehensive digital asset library for photography, videos, and creative materials.

2. Social Media & Digital Marketing

• Develop and maintain the monthly social media content calendar.
• Schedule and publish content across all approved digital platforms.
• Monitor engagement, audience growth, and campaign performance using available analytics tools.
• Identify emerging digital trends and recommend innovative content ideas.
• Support influencer collaborations, content partnerships, and user-generated content initiatives.
• Monitor competitor activities and industry trends to identify new marketing opportunities.
• Optimize content to maximize audience engagement and online visibility.

3. Marketing Support

• Support the Director of Marketing in executing integrated marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with Sales, Food & Beverage, Spa, Events, and Rooms Division to create promotional content.
• Assist in promoting seasonal campaigns, new products, special events, and hotel experiences.
• Produce creative materials supporting revenue-generating initiatives.
• Coordinate photography and videography requirements for media, partnerships, and promotional activities.

4. Administration

• Plan and coordinate content production schedules with operational departments.
• Prepare creative briefs and communicate production requirements.
• Ensure all content usage rights, model releases, photography permissions, and vendor agreements are properly maintained.
• Organize and archive all digital assets for efficient retrieval.
• Prepare monthly reports on content performance and campaign effectiveness.
• Maintain content production schedules and project timelines.

5. Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with all hotel departments to identify content opportunities.
• Coordinate photo and video shoots while minimizing operational disruption.
• Build strong relationships with photographers, videographers, influencers, media partners, and external agencies.
• Support the Marketing team in maintaining consistent communication across all promotional channels.
• Assist with marketing activities during the absence of the Director of Marketing when required.

6. Brand Management

• Ensure all visual and written content reflects the hotel's luxury positioning and brand standards.
• Maintain consistency across all communication channels.
• Support brand awareness initiatives through innovative storytelling.
• Protect the hotel's visual identity and ensure all creative materials meet established brand guidelines.

7. Other Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of personal presentation and professionalism.
• Attend departmental meetings, training sessions, and hotel events as required.
• Comply with hotel policies relating to health, safety, hygiene, fire procedures, and confidentiality.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude and foster strong working relationships across all departments.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Director of Marketing or Director of Sales & Marketing.
