Contract Librarian in Ar-Ruwais

We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Librarian to join our team in Ar-Ruwais on a contract basis. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in library science and information management, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize, catalog, and maintain library materials using appropriate classification systems
• Assist patrons with research inquiries and provide reference services
• Develop and implement library policies and procedures
• Manage library budget and make purchasing decisions for new materials
• Collaborate with other departments to promote library resources and services
• Train and supervise library staff members

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
• Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Librarian in a similar setting
• Strong knowledge of library databases, cataloging systems, and information management techniques
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with others

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of 1600$ per month for this contract position.
