Controller/Assistant Controller

A well-established real estate company is looking to add an Assistant Controller / Controller to the team.

Looking for someone with real estate industry experience and a strong corporate accounting background. This role will focus on monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, and overall accounting operations. This is not a property accounting position.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of accounting experience
• Real estate industry experience required
• Strong month-end close experience
• Strong corporate accounting background
• Previous management experience
• Accounting Manager, Senior Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or Controller background
• Yardi experience is a plus
• CPA is a plus

Location: Morris County, NJ

Salary: $140k-$160k + Bonus
