Controller
We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting and financial operations for its manufacturing business. This role oversees financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, month-end close, job costing, inventory, revenue recognition, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead accounting operations and month-end close.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Manage job costing, inventory, and project profitability.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, ASC 606, and tax requirements.
- Maintain internal controls and financial reporting.
- Support ERP systems, with Syteline experience preferred.
- Partner with operations, sales, engineering, and other departments.
- Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 8–10+ years of accounting/finance experience , preferably in manufacturing.
- Previous Controller or similar leadership experience.
- Strong financial analysis, cost accounting, and job costing experience.
- Experience with ERP systems; Syteline preferred .
- Strong Excel, communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Hands-on, team-oriented approach with a focus on profitable growth.
