We are seeking an experienced and dependable cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate has a passion for food, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This role involves preparing a variety of dishes while maintaining high food safety and quality standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
Set up workstations with all the needed ingredients and cooking equipment
Ensure food is prepared on time and served hot and fresh
Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
Assist with receiving and properly storing food supplies and ingredients
Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the chef or manager
Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Adapt recipes to meet special dietary needs or requests
Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen
