We are looking for an experienced CP Inspector to perform inspection, testing, monitoring, commissioning, and maintenance of Cathodic Protection (CP) systems for pipelines, tanks, and offshore structures. The role will be responsible for assessing CP performance, troubleshooting systems, conducting CP surveys, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and project specifications.
Inspect, test, monitor, commission, and maintain ICCP and Sacrificial Anode CP systems.
Conduct CIPS, DCVG, ACVG, PCM, soil resistivity, current attenuation, and interference surveys.
Monitor and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of CP systems.
Inspect and assess tank bottom CP systems and associated components.
Troubleshoot and identify issues with TR units and CP system components.
Perform field measurements, inspections, and testing to identify corrosion protection deficiencies.
Review CP readings, survey results, and inspection data and identify required corrective actions.
Ensure CP activities are carried out in accordance with AMPP/NACE, ISO 15589, and applicable project specifications.
Support commissioning and maintenance activities for CP systems.
Prepare inspection records, test results, reports, and relevant technical documentation.
Coordinate with engineering, inspection, maintenance, and project teams to address CP-related issues.
Maintain compliance with site safety requirements and project procedures.
Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum NACE CP Level 2 certification.
7 years of experience for candidates with an Engineering Degree in Electrical or equivalent.
10 years of experience for candidates with a Diploma in Electrical or equivalent.
Proven hands-on experience with ICCP and Sacrificial Anode CP systems.
Experience in CP inspection, testing, commissioning, monitoring, and maintenance for pipelines, tanks, and offshore structures.
Practical experience with CIPS, DCVG, ACVG, PCM, soil resistivity, current attenuation, and interference surveys.
Experience in troubleshooting TR units and inspecting tank bottom CP systems.
Knowledge of AMPP/NACE, ISO 15589, and project specifications.
