A well-established construction company in Ajman is seeking a skilled Crane Operator to join our team. As a Crane Operator you will be responsible for operating a variety of cranes on our construction sites. This is a contract position with the potential for full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate various types of cranes including mobile and tower cranes to lift and move materials and equipment on construction sites
- Inspect equipment before use to ensure it is in good working condition and report any issues that may arise
- Follow safety protocols and regulations at all times to ensure the safety of yourself and others on site
- Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors to coordinate crane movements and ensure efficient operations
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities including crane usage maintenance and any incidents that occur
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust crane operations accordingly
Requirements
- Must be a Canadian national or have a valid work permit for Canada
- Fluent in English both written and verbal
- Previous experience as a Crane Operator is preferred but not required
- Must be physically fit as the job requires heavy lifting and long hours of standing
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must have strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
