The successful candidate will be responsible for operating cranes in a safe manner to move materials around the job site. Requirements At least 5 years of experience as a crane operator in the construction industry Knowledge of crane operation principles, safety regulations, and best practices Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Excellent problem solving skills Ability to perform basic maintenance on cranes Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a crane safely Physically fit with no medical restrictions that would impede crane operation Responsibilities Monitor load capacity, movement speed, and other factors to ensure safety while operating cranes. Secure loads before transporting them from one area to another. Operate cranes within a variety of weather conditions. Inspect cranes on a regular basis and perform basic maintenance as needed.
