Creative Director, Long Form Content

In partnership with our client a premium personal brand and business group based in the UAE we are seeking a Creative Director for Long Form Conten t to lead the strategy planning and execution of high-impact content across YouTube editorial platforms and campaign storytelling initiatives. Who are we looking for

• You are a long-form content strategist and storyteller with 4 to 7 years of experience building and growing content platforms through high-retention video and editorial formats.
• You are deeply fluent in YouTube understanding how the platform works what drives watch time and subscriber growth and how to build content that keeps audiences coming back.
• You are a creative thinker who can conceptualise original documentaries interview series vlogs and founder-led narratives that are both compelling and scalable.
• You are analytically driven using performance data audience insights and platform trends to continuously improve content strategy and outcomes.
• You are an organised editorial planner able to manage content calendars coordinate with production teams and keep campaigns on track without losing creative quality.
• You are collaborative and communicative working effectively with videographers editors marketers and PR teams to bring content to life consistently and on time.

Your Responsibilities

Content Strategy and Storytelling

• You will develop and execute long-form content strategies aligned with the personal brands positioning across YouTube and editorial platforms.
• You will conceptualise original content ideas including documentaries vlogs interviews deep-dives founder-led storytelling and event coverage that resonate with the target audience.
• You will develop scripts episode structures storytelling frameworks and content narratives designed to maximise audience retention and engagement.
• You will create scalable content formats and episodic series that support long-term audience growth and brand consistency.

Editorial Planning and Campaign Coordination

• You will build and manage structured editorial calendars with consistent publishing schedules across YouTube and digital platforms.
• You will coordinate with videographers editors PR and marketing teams to ensure smooth content execution and campaign alignment.
• You will support campaign-level storytelling initiatives aligned with business launches partnerships events and brand objectives.
• You will ensure consistency in visual identity messaging tone and storytelling style across all long-form content.

Performance Analysis and Optimisation

• You will analyse performance metrics including watch time retention rate engagement subscriber growth and audience behaviour to inform strategy.
• You will optimise content approaches based on analytics platform trends and audience insights identifying high-performing formats and scaling what works.
• You will prepare monthly performance reports and strategic recommendations for management review.

Creative Innovation and Audience Growth

• You will stay updated on YouTube trends audience psychology storytelling techniques and platform algorithm changes to keep content relevant and competitive.
• You will research emerging content formats creator trends and competitor strategies utilising AI tools and analytics platforms to improve creative efficiency and performance.

To be considered for this role you should have

• A Bachelors degree in Media Studies Journalism Film Production Marketing Communications or a related field.
• 4 to 7 years of experience in long-form content strategy YouTube content production editorial storytelling or creator and influencer media roles.
• A proven track record of growing content platforms with measurable audience growth and engagement metrics.
• Strong expertise in YouTube SEO watch-time optimisation and content performance tracking.
• Excellent scripting storytelling and editorial planning skills.
