The role focuses on protecting enterprise IT infrastructure and supporting effective detection, response, and resolution of cybersecurity incidents.
The position requires strong knowledge of network security technologies and experience with platforms such as Cisco, Fortinet, or Palo Alto. Experience in the Oil & Gas sector is an advantage. Relevant cybersecurity and infrastructure certifications can support professional development, technical training, and long-term career growth in cybersecurity operations and network security.
Key Responsibilities Manage and support enterprise network security infrastructure. Configure, monitor, and maintain firewalls and network security systems. Work with Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto security technologies where applicable. Monitor cybersecurity operations and identify potential security incidents. Respond to and investigate cybersecurity incidents. Support incident response and security remediation activities. Maintain and troubleshoot network switches and security infrastructure. Implement network security controls and best practices. Support security monitoring, risk mitigation, and infrastructure protection. Collaborate with technical teams to resolve security-related issues. Maintain compliance with applicable security standards and organizational requirements. Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in network security, firewalls, and switches. Strong experience in cybersecurity operations and incident response. Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, or Palo Alto is preferred. Relevant Cisco, Fortinet, Microsoft, Comp TIA, or IEC 62443 certifications are preferred. Oil & Gas industry experience is an advantage. Valid Qatar driving license is required. Own car is required. Candidates must currently be located in Qatar. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
