Cylindrical Grinding Operator

Location: Dubai

Salary: 3,500-4,000 AED per month

Role Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist engineering and surface technology company seeking an experienced Cylindrical Grinding Operator . This is a hands‑on role focused on producing high-precision components to tight tolerances, taking responsibility for machine setup, grinding operations, inspection, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate cylindrical grinding machines for external and internal grinding where required.
• Select, mount, and dress grinding wheels to achieve required finishes and tolerances.
• Adjust speeds, feeds, and machine settings for optimal machining performance.
• Interpret engineering drawings and machining specifications.
• Inspect components using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicators, and bore gauges.
• Identify and rectify dimensional or surface‑finish issues during production.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and uphold quality and safety standards.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to meet customer requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ hands‑on cylindrical grinding experience within a precision engineering environment.
• Proven experience in external cylindrical grinding .
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong knowledge of grinding wheel selection, dressing, speeds, and feeds.
• Competence using precision measuring instruments.
• Technical, vocational, or engineering qualification, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in internal cylindrical grinding .
• Background in aerospace, oil and gas, automotive, or other precision engineering industries.
