Soft skills matter just as much as technical scheduling credentials.
Successful candidates will demonstrate:
- Exceptional communication skills
- Grit and a strong sense of ownership
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving ability
- Confidence working in demanding field environments
- Comfort operating within large union-trade environments
- Ability to communicate effectively with field trades, contractors, and senior project leadership
- A bias toward action and problem resolution
- Strong organizational and reporting discipline
- Comfort operating at an accelerated pace
- Fluency with technology and AI-enabled tools
- The ability to be self-directed and productive from day one
This is not a position for someone who simply updates activities in P6 based on information provided by others.
We are looking for a field-driven scheduler who understands what’s actually happening on the jobsite, asks the right questions, challenges inaccurate or incomplete information, recognizes when actual progress doesn’t align with the schedule, understands the downstream implications, and communicates and escalates those risks before they become project delays.
