We're Hiring: Desktop Engineer | Abu Dhabi, UAE
We are looking for an experienced Desktop Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi.
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Work Mode: Onsite
End Users: Approximately 80-90 users
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite IT support and troubleshoot issues across Windows, macOS, and basic Linux environments.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues involving PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Manage basic networking, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
- Provide remote support using TeamViewer, RDP, SCCM, and Intune.
- Manage and resolve IT support tickets through ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk.
- Develop and maintain basic scripts using PowerShell and batch.
- Deliver excellent technical support and customer service to end users.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Desktop Engineer, IT Support Engineer, or in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of Windows, macOS, and basic Linux environments.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support a multicultural workforce.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
