DHA Licensed Elderly Care Nurse (Dubai)

Malaak is seeking a compassionate and experienced Elderly Care Nurse to join our in-home care team. The ideal candidate should be a nursing graduate or have an RN license with practical experience in elderly care. This role is perfect for someone who values patient-centered care and is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for elderly clients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct Elderly Care : Provide high-quality compassionate care to elderly clients including assistance with daily living activities personal hygiene mobility support and meal preparation. Monitor vital signs and address basic healthcare needs with accuracy.
  
• Care Planning : Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans tailored to meet each clients unique health requirements and personal preferences.
  
• Patient and Family Education : Offer guidance and support to families educating them on elder care techniques proper use of medical equipment and ongoing care needs.
  
• Safety and Compliance : Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures ensuring a safe and clean environment for clients. Maintain up-to-date documentation of care provided in compliance with homecare standards.
  

Qualifications:

• Certification and Education :
  

  • Nursing graduate (Bachelors degree or diploma) with experience in elderly care; OR
    
  • Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in elderly care.
    
• Experience : A minimum of 2 years in a healthcare setting focused on elderly or homecare services.
  

• Skills and Competencies :
  

  • Strong understanding of elderly care needs including chronic condition management and personal assistance.
    
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate patient-centered approach.
    
  • Ability to work independently and provide high-quality care in a home setting.
