The Senior Director of Project Controls (Cost Management) serves as a strategic leader responsible for overseeing cost controls across large capital programs, with a strong focus on data centers, mission-critical facilities, and complex construction projects. This individual acts as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, ensuring financial performance, program governance, forecasting accuracy, risk management, and successful project delivery across multiple projects or portfolios.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead project controls and cost management strategies across large-scale capital programs and portfolios.
• Serve as the primary client advisor on budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, cost reporting, and financial performance.
• Establish cost control frameworks, governance processes, KPIs, and executive reporting standards.
• Provide portfolio-level oversight of project budgets, forecasts, financial risks, and cost performance.
• Partner with project management, scheduling, commercial, and construction teams to align cost, schedule, and business objectives.
• Identify financial risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support executive decision-making through scenario analysis.
• Lead and mentor project controls managers, cost managers, and analysts while building high-performing teams.
• Support business development efforts, client presentations, and account growth initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement of project controls tools, processes, reporting, and best practices.
