We’re excited to bring the Brain Balance Program® to Staten Island, and we are looking for a founding Director of Programs to help launch our center this coming fall. Together, we’ll make an impact on the local community by building stronger foundations and brighter futures with brain development for kids, teens, and adults. This is done through our unique multi-modal program that incorporates cognitive training, sensory and motor exercises, nutritional health, lifestyle guidance, and personalized coaching for individuals who struggle with attention, ADHD symptoms, emotional-social well-being, memory, cognition, and overall performance.
Director of Programs:
The Director of Programs has a key role in fulfilling our center’s mission and organizational success. You’ll bring creativity, energy, passion, experience, and empathy in working with our children and parents through intensive programming. You’re a lifelong learner and will take all the necessary and continuing training to become a program expert and to coach, lead and mentor others who are part of the organization. You are highly organized with affirmative communication skills and will facilitate children’s progress reports with parents on regularly scheduled meetings throughout the program. You can receive constructive criticism and give it and can think of ways to enhance our enrollment experience for children and parents.
Why Brain Balance:
Brain Balance is a holistic, science-backed program designed to support individuals with challenges related to attention, cognition, emotional and behavioral regulation, and sensory processing. The program’s unique multimodal approach targets the root causes of sensory and emotional dysregulation by maturing and integrating the many individual functions in the brain that must work together for success in learning, behavior, and social interactions.
Extensive evidence supports the effectiveness of the Brain Balance Program®. Our published research consistently highlights significant improvements and positive outcomes reported by parents, program participants, educators, and clinicians.
