About the job:
Director, Partner Sales – Banking & Financial Services (India-based, North America Market)
Location: India (Remote / Hybrid — Ahmedabad, Bangalore)
Market Coverage: North America (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance — BFSI vertical)
Reports To: EVP, Alliances / Chief Alliance & Marketing Officer
Collaborates With: Banking & Financial Services Business Unit leadership, North America sales, alliance, and marketing teams. Flexible hours required to overlap with North American business hours (EST/PST) for partner and internal engagement.
Position Description
The Partner Sales Executive – Banking & Financial Services is a dedicated, India-based channel sales leader who drives growth exclusively within Intuitive's North America Banking & Financial Services business unit through the partner ecosystem. This role owns the co-sell relationship with hyperscaler and ISV partners — including AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Databricks, and Anthropic — on behalf of Intuitive's BFSI practice, and is measured on expanding revenue within Intuitive's existing banking and financial services accounts through partner-sourced and partner-influenced opportunities, in addition to generating net-new opportunities that come from deepening those partner relationships and earning referral business.
You will become the trusted, single point of contact between partner alliance teams and Intuitive's BFSI account owners, embedding yourself in existing client relationships to identify expansion, renewal, and cross-sell opportunities that partners can help accelerate or fund. Success depends on deep familiarity with the banking and financial services domain, comfort operating within at least two of Intuitive's key partner ecosystems (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Databricks, Anthropic), and the ability to work North America hours from an India base.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the exclusive channel/alliance seller supporting Intuitive's North America Banking & Financial Services business unit, owning all partner co-sell motions tied to existing BFSI accounts
- Build and deepen relationships with regional AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Databricks, and/or Anthropic partner sellers to expand revenue within Intuitive's current banking and financial services client base, while also converting those relationships into net-new referral opportunities
- Partner jointly with Intuitive's BFSI account owners and delivery leaders to map partner programs, funding, and co-sell motions onto active accounts, uncovering upsell, renewal, and modernization opportunities
- Drive partner-funded programs (e.g., migration funding, workshops, assessments) against existing banking and financial services accounts to accelerate expansion and reduce friction in growth conversations
- Act as the central point of contact for partner sellers and district managers on all BFSI-related account activity, coordinating cadences, QBRs, and escalations
- Bring working knowledge of the banking and financial services domain (e.g., core banking, payments, capital markets, risk and regulatory compliance such as PCI-DSS, SOX, and GLBA) to credibly engage client and partner stakeholders
- Collaborate with Intuitive's alliance, marketing, and BFSI practice leadership to build account-specific, partner-backed growth plans rather than broad demand-generation campaigns
- Educate partner sellers on Intuitive's banking and financial services capabilities, delivery track record, and account-specific success stories to strengthen partner preference on existing engagements
- Generate net-new opportunities through partner and ISV referrals — leveraging trusted relationships with partner sellers to earn introductions to new BFSI buying centers and prospects
- Report on partner-sourced pipeline and revenue against an assigned quota spanning both existing-account expansion and referral-driven net-new opportunities
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in cloud consulting, channel/partner sales, or business development, with meaningful exposure to the banking, financial services, or insurance (BFSI) vertical
- Demonstrated comfort and existing relationships within at least two of the following partner ecosystems: AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Databricks, Anthropic — with a focus on sales and co-sell motions rather than technical delivery
- Prior experience working for a consulting or systems-integrator partner (not solely a product/software vendor), with an understanding of how consulting services are sold and funded through hyperscaler and ISV programs
- Strong grounding in enterprise sales motions — complex, multi-stakeholder deal cycles, account planning, and executive engagement — within North America F1000 banking and financial services accounts
- Track record of growing revenue within an existing account base through channel/partner relationships, and of converting those partner relationships into net-new referral business
- Familiarity with the regulatory and risk landscape shaping BFSI technology decisions is a strong plus
- Ability to work North America business hours from an India base and travel occasionally to align with partner and account teams
- Self-starter, comfortable operating independently across time zones with North America stakeholders
- Relevant cloud or partner certification (AWS and/or Google Cloud) preferred
What Success Looks Like
- Measurable revenue growth within Intuitive's existing North America banking and financial services accounts through partner co-sell, plus new-logo pipeline sourced through partner referrals.
- Deep, trusted relationships with at least two hyperscaler/ISV partner teams focused on the BFSI vertical.
- Partner-funded programs actively running against current BFSI accounts.
- Strong alignment between Intuitive's BFSI account owners and partner sellers on account growth priorities.
