Position Overview
The Document Specialist is responsible for accurately processing, reviewing, organizing, and maintaining documents within established workflows. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to manage a high volume of time-sensitive work while maintaining accuracy and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process documents accurately and efficiently.
- Organize, index, and maintain documents in designated systems.
- Verify documents for completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation.
- Update systems with relevant document information and status changes.
- Track documents throughout the processing workflow and ensure timely completion.
- Identify missing information, discrepancies, or exceptions and escalate as needed.
- Follow established procedures, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Manage multiple priorities while meeting productivity and turnaround expectations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve document-related issues and support workflow efficiency.
Qualifications

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with computer systems and learning new software.
- Ability to work in a deadline-driven, high-volume environment.
- Previous experience in document processing, administrative support, mortgage operations, financial services, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- 1–3+ years of experience in document processing, data entry, administrative support, or a related field preferred.
