Electrical Engineer - Hospital Facility | Qatar | Arabic
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage electrical maintenance and engineering activities within a hospital facility in Qatar, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of hospital electrical systems.
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment and systems.
- Ensure reliable operation of LV/MV systems, generators, UPS, ATS, emergency power systems, lighting, and distribution boards .
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure critical systems remain operational.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams, contractors, and hospital stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar regulations, safety standards, and hospital requirements.
- Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and technical documentation.
- Respond to electrical emergencies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance.
- Hospital/healthcare facility experience is highly preferred.
- Strong Facility Management / MEP experience.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems, generators, UPS, emergency power, and building services.
- Fluent Arabic and English - Arabic is mandatory.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Qatar/GCC experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a critical healthcare environment.
