The NEC, a multi-building campus will provide a new Chancery, Marine security guard residence, and support facilities for the Embassy. A two-level parking structure for staff parking is located on the western perimeter of the site accessed along a one-way frontage paralleling Arab League Road.

The New Embassy Campus is organized into four programmatic zones: representational, recreational, residential, and service. The Chancery sits on the center of the site and defines the edges of the four zones. To the south of the Chancery is the representational zone including the Main Entry Plaza, American Center Plaza, and Consular Plaza. Each space has been designed for dual purpose focusing on day-to-day pedestrian and vehicle access with flexibility to accommodate larger programmed outdoor events.
