We are partnered with a 100% employee-owned MEP engineering and consulting firm known for its collaborative culture, complex technical projects, and emphasis on giving engineers ownership over their work and career development.
They are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to join their growing electrical team. You'll work across unique projects within Science & Technology, mission critical, data centers, secure facilities, and other technically complex environments.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone from an MEP or consulting engineering background who wants broader project exposure, increased responsibility, and the ability to develop their career within an entrepreneurial and collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
- Design electrical building systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and associated systems.
- Develop drawings, specifications, calculations, and project documentation.
- Take ownership of electrical project scopes while collaborating across engineering disciplines.
- Perform construction administration, field investigations, and site visits.
- Support testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Work closely with Technical Leaders and Senior Engineers to maintain technical and design standards.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and other project stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
- 4-7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong electrical building systems design experience.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD with Revit experience preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding of applicable building and electrical codes.
- Ability to take ownership of project responsibilities and work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
