Qualifications
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work on lifts, ladders, rooftops, and other hard-to-access areas.
Technical Requirements:
- Knowledge of current NEC codes.
- Experience wiring residential electrical systems.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in the electrical trade.
- Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams.
Skills:

Experience & Education:
- Electrical experience: 1+ year (Required).
- Solar electrical experience: (Preferred).
- Driver’s license: (Required).
- High school diploma or equivalent: (Preferred).
Responsibilities
- Install and service electrical components of solar PV systems according to design specifications and local electrical codes.
- Install solar equipment including, but not limited to: inverters, load centers, disconnects, combiner boxes, EV chargers, and batteries.
- Bend and install conduit; pull and terminate wire and cable.
- Set up internet communications for systems.
- Perform troubleshooting, system testing, and commissioning.
- Upgrade service panels as needed.
- Travel within Ohio and surrounding states.
- Follow a schedule of 8–10 hour shifts, Monday–Friday.
- Read schematics and follow technical installation instructions.
- Load and unload trucks.
- Maintain a clean job site, work truck, and warehouse.
- Work under the direction of the Crew Lead, Senior Electrician, and Installation Manager, while coordinating with all team members.
- Interact with clients respectfully and professionally.
- Stay current with new technologies, equipment, and techniques related to solar energy systems.
- Wear all required safety gear and follow all company safety policies.
