About The Role

We are hiring an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer for a cutting-edge Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) project based in Abu Dhabi. Candidate must have strong marine domain experience and hands-on experience in Autopilot and low-level hardware integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded firmware for USV platforms
• Work on Autopilot integration - ArduPilot / PX4
• Develop motor drivers, actuator control and propulsion system control
• Develop low-level sensor drivers - IMU, GPS, Compass, Sonar
• Interface microcontrollers with sensors, actuators and communication modules
• Debug, test and validate firmware on actual USV hardware in marine environment
• Collaborate with Autonomy, Perception and Hardware teams

Required Skills

• 5+ years experience in Embedded Systems / Firmware Development
• Mandatory experience in Marine domain / USV / Autonomous Vessels / Drones / UAV / UGV
• Strong programming in C / C++
• Expertise in ArduPilot / PX4 autopilot stack
• Hands-on experience with Microcontrollers - STM32, ESP32, PIC, ARM
• Experience in Motor Drivers, ESC, Actuator Control, PWM, CAN, UART, SPI, I2C
• Knowledge of Sensor Integration - IMU, GPS, Compass, LiDAR, Radar
• B.E / M.E / in Electronics, Electrical, Embedded Systems, Mechatronics or related field
