English Teacher

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site English Teacher role based in Doha, Qatar. The English Teacher will plan, deliver, and assess engaging English language and literature lessons aligned with the American curriculum for assigned grade levels. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, evaluating student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of progress and attendance. The role also involves differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs, integrating technology into classroom activities, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment. The English Teacher will collaborate with colleagues, communicate regularly with parents and guardians, and participate in school events, professional development, and curriculum improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong English Teaching and Teaching skills, with experience delivering curriculum-aligned instruction to diverse learners.
• Candidates should possess solid Lesson Planning and Education skills, including the ability to design structured, differentiated, and outcomes-based lessons.
• Candidates should possess clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with students, families, and colleagues.
• Relevant bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Experience in international or multicultural school settings and familiarity with American curriculum standards are beneficial.
• Ability to use educational technology and digital learning tools to enhance classroom engagement and assessment.
• Demonstrated classroom management skills, commitment to inclusive practices, and a student-centered approach to learning.
