Enterprise Resources Planning Project Manager

An experienced ERP Project Manager to oversee implementation, manage the outside vendor, resolve issues, and train employees to use the new system.

Functional Title: ERP Project Manager

Location: Newark, NJ (Onsite)

Experience: 5+ years

Compensation: $90K-$105K

We are seeking an experienced ERP Project Manager to help lead an ongoing ERP upgrade for an established distribution and manufacturing company.

Working directly with senior leadership, this individual will coordinate the external implementation partner, manage project timelines and deliverables, resolve implementation challenges, and help employees transition to the new system.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing ERP implementations, understands how ERP systems support business operations, and can work independently to keep projects moving forward.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day coordination of the ERP implementation.
• Hold external implementation partners accountable for progress, timelines, and deliverables.
• Work with internal departments to understand business requirements and address implementation challenges.
• Support ERP functionality across accounting, inventory, manufacturing, distribution, and e-commerce.
• Coordinate and deliver employee training to ensure successful adoption.
• Track project milestones, outstanding issues, and implementation costs.
• Identify problems, coordinate solutions, and communicate progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant ERP implementation and project management experience.
• Experience implementing or upgrading an ERP system. Experience with any ERP platform will be considered.
• Strong project management, vendor coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of business workflows involving accounting, inventory, and manufacturing.
• Experience supporting employee training and ERP adoption.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical teams.

Experience with VAI S2K, AS/400 environments, or similar ERP systems is a plus, but not required.
