Enterprise Sales Manager – West
AI-Native Enterprise Procurement Platform
Location: Mumbai / Thane / Navi Mumbai
Experience: 5–8 years in enterprise technology or solution sales
Compensation: ₹15–18 lakh fixed CTC + performance-linked variable and overachievement incentives
The Opportunity
MavenVista is looking for a sincere, ambitious and commercially driven enterprise salesperson who wants to do more than simply move to another sales job.
This role is for someone who wants to build credibility, take ownership of a market and grow with an established enterprise technology company. You will represent VENDX , our AI-native procurement platform, and develop relationships with some of India’s leading manufacturing and corporate organisations.
We value performance, transparency and long-term relationships. In return, the right person will receive direct access to experienced leadership, strong pre-sales and product support, meaningful account ownership, recognition for results and the opportunity to take on greater responsibility as the business grows.
This is not a lead-generation role. It is a full-cycle enterprise sales position requiring the hunger to create opportunities, the patience to develop them and the commercial courage to take them towards closure.
What You Will Own:
You will be responsible for selected enterprise accounts across Western India, covering the complete sales journey:
- Researching target organisations and identifying relevant business opportunities
- Developing access to procurement, supply chain, finance, IT and business leadership
- Creating new opportunities through thoughtful outreach, networking, referrals and persistent follow-up
- Understanding customer processes, pain points and decision priorities
- Working with pre-sales and product teams to deliver relevant solution presentations and demonstrations
- Building a strong business case around efficiency, control, savings, compliance and decision quality
- Coordinating proposals, pilots, commercial discussions and negotiations
- Progressing opportunities systematically through long enterprise sales cycles
- Maintaining accurate CRM records, forecasts and next-action plans
- Building trusted customer relationships that support both closure and long-term account value
- Sharing market intelligence, customer feedback and competitive insights with the leadership team
The Person We Are Looking For
We are looking for a disciplined relationship builder and determined opportunity creator —not merely a polished presenter.
You should bring:
- 5–8 years of experience in enterprise software, SaaS or technology-led solution sales
- Experience engaging with large or mid-sized organisations
- Exposure to sales cycles typically lasting 6–12 months
- Evidence of personally creating and developing sales opportunities
- Participation in solution presentations, proposals, negotiations and closures
- Confidence in engaging with senior business, functional and technology stakeholders
- Strong follow-up, documentation and opportunity-management discipline
- The ability and willingness to learn a sophisticated enterprise platform
- Comfort working independently while remaining closely aligned with the wider team
- Honest and realistic communication, particularly in pipeline reporting and forecasting
- Persistence when decisions take time or opportunities encounter setbacks
- A genuine desire to establish yourself in an organisation and grow through demonstrated performance
Most importantly, you should combine integrity and dependability with ambition and commercial hunger .
Relevant Industry Experience:
Experience in any of the following areas would be valuable:
- Procurement, sourcing or supply-chain platforms
- ERP solutions or SAP implementation partners
- Accounts payable, invoice automation or spend-management solutions
- Contract, vendor or compliance-management platforms
- Enterprise workflow, CRM or HRMS solutions
- Technology-led services sold to large organisations
Exposure to manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, cement, chemicals, automotive, engineering, FMCG or other process-driven industries would be an advantage.
Direct procurement-software experience is welcome but not essential. We place greater value on enterprise solution-selling capability, learning agility, stability and the ability to earn customer trust.
What Success Will Look Like
During the initial phase, success will mean:
- Developing a strong understanding of VENDX and enterprise procurement challenges
- Creating well-researched target-account plans
- Establishing relevant conversations within selected accounts
- Building a credible, qualified opportunity pipeline
- Demonstrating disciplined follow-up and dependable CRM reporting
- Progressing opportunities through discovery, demonstration, evaluation and commercial discussions
- Gradually taking independent ownership of customer relationships and closures
Your performance will be evaluated on the quality and movement of the pipeline—not merely on the number of calls or meetings.
What You Can Expect from Us
- A credible and established enterprise product with deployments across leading organisations
- An AI-native platform addressing real and complex procurement requirements
- Support from an experienced Sales Director, pre-sales specialists and product leadership
- Joint customer engagement and structured onboarding during the initial period
- Direct and accessible leadership
- Clearly defined account ownership and performance expectations
- Recognition for initiative, transparency and results
- Performance-linked variable compensation
- Uncapped incentives for overachievement
- A potential retention reward based on sustained performance and contribution
- A visible path to larger responsibilities as the organisation and Western India business grow
We believe trust is built mutually—through transparency, commitments honoured, support during challenges and consistent performance. We are looking for someone with whom we can build that trust over time.
Why This Role Can Be Career-Defining
In a large organisation, a salesperson may remain one among many. At MavenVista, the right person can directly influence market growth, build strategic customer relationships and become an important contributor to the company’s next phase.
This opportunity will suit someone who believes:
“I want to be judged by what I build, the trust I create and the results I deliver.”
If you are looking for a short-term designation change, this role may not be the right fit. If you are looking for ownership, learning, leadership access and the opportunity to grow with an enterprise technology company, we would be keen to meet you.
Application
Please apply with your profile and a brief note covering:
- One enterprise opportunity you personally created and developed
- Your role in progressing or closing that opportunity
