Excavator Operator Profession: Excavator Operator City: Al-Khor, Qatar
We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. As an Excavator Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and machinery to excavate and move earth, rock, and other materials on construction sites or in mining operations. This is a contract position with a salary of 1300$ per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other excavations according to job specifications
- Load and unload materials onto trucks or conveyor belts using the excavator's bucket or other attachments
- Ensure safe operation of the excavator at all times by following all safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on the excavator and report any mechanical issues to the supervisor
- Follow proper excavation techniques to prevent damage to underground utilities or structures
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators in a construction or mining setting
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate heavy machinery safely
- Must have experience with different types of excavators and various attachments
- Knowledge of excavation techniques and ability to read site plans and blueprints
- Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination and depth perception
