Executive Chef - African Cuisine (Lusail, Qatar) A luxury hotel in Lusail, Qatar is seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef with a passion for African cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Executive Chef in high-end restaurants or hotels, specializing in African cuisine. This role requires a creative and innovative chef who can develop and execute menus that showcase the unique flavors and ingredients of African cuisine. Responsibilities: Develop creative and authentic menus that showcase the diverse flavors of African cuisine Oversee the preparation and presentation of all dishes, ensuring high quality and consistency Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, budget management, and staff scheduling Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and service Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations Collaborate with restaurant management to maintain profitability while meeting customer expectations Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu development Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Executive Chef in high-end restaurants or hotels specializing in African cuisine Proven track record of developing creative menus that highlight the unique flavors of African cuisine Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage kitchen staff effectively In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures Excellent communication skills to collaborate with restaurant management on menu development and operations Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards Salary: We offer a competitive salary package starting at 1800$ per month based on experience.
