Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine

We are seeking a talented and experienced Executive Chef to lead our Indian cuisine team in El-Ain The ideal candidate will have a passion for Indian cuisine and be able to create innovative and authentic dishes while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency The Executive Chef will oversee all aspects of the kitchen including menu planning food preparation inventory management and staff training This is a full-time position with no accommodation provided so we are looking for candidates who already have their own visa and are authorized to work in El-Ain We welcome applications from graduates with relevant culinary qualifications and at least 5 years of experience in the Indian cuisine industry As an English-speaking employer proficiency in English is required for effective communication with the team

Responsibilities

• Develop creative and authentic dishes for our Indian cuisine menu
• Ensure high quality of food preparation and presentation
• Manage inventory levels to ensure efficient use of ingredients
• Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain consistency in food preparation
• Monitor food cost waste and portion control
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant

Requirements

• Passion for Indian cuisine with extensive knowledge of traditional recipes and cooking techniques
• Proven experience as an Executive Chef in an Indian cuisine restaurant or hotel
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in English for effective communication with the team
• Relevant culinary qualifications from a recognized institution

Salary $1600 per month negotiable based on experience

Location El-Ain

Must be eligible to work in El-Ain without accommodation provided
