We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As a Truck Driver you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating large commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials to various locations. This position requires a valid drivers license at least 2 years of truck driving experience and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers and flatbed trucks
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations according to assigned routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and report any maintenance issues
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries including logbooks trip sheets and bills of lading
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers customers and other drivers using radio or phone systems
Requirements
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- At least 2 years of experience as a truck driver
- Proven ability to operate large commercial vehicles safely
- Good communication skills in English Arabic is a plus
- Ability to read maps and follow GPS directions
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
- Must be physically fit to loadunload cargo as required
- Own visa is preferred
