Facilities Management Engineer – Civil/Architecture & Fit-Out for a 6-month temporary contract in the UAE , supporting a fit-out project within a steel manufacturing facility .
Contract: 6 months (temporary)
We’re looking for someone with:
- Degree/background in Civil Engineering or Architecture
- Strong experience in Facilities Management, industrial facilities and fit-out projects
- Experience working on industrial/manufacturing facility fit-outs is highly preferred
- Good understanding of AutoCAD, drawings, layouts and technical specifications
- Strong knowledge of civil, architectural, interior and fit-out materials , including their applications and site requirements
- Ability to review project requirements/drawings and identify the materials, products and services required
- Experience preparing and issuing RFQs, reviewing quotations, comparing technical/commercial requirements and coordinating with suppliers
- Strong UAE vendor and contractor network , particularly across fit-out, civil works, interiors and building materials
- Experience with material review, technical evaluation and approval and coordinating materials for site execution
- Understanding of industrial site requirements, construction materials, finishes and installation requirements
- Hands-on experience coordinating with contractors, suppliers and site teams to ensure materials and services are available as required
This role will support a fit-out project within a steel manufacturing facility , so we need someone who is technically strong, hands-on and comfortable working in an industrial environment .
The ideal candidate should understand both the technical side of fit-out and materials as well as vendor sourcing, RFQs and contractor coordination .
