Black & Grey HR is recruiting a Service Engineer –General Machinery for a reputed client in the industrial machinery sector. Therole focuses on the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of awide range of general industrial machines. It combines technical field serviceresponsibilities with customer interaction and promotion of Annual MaintenanceContracts (AMCs).
Responsibilities:
- Install and commissionindustrial machinery at customer sites, ensuring setup and performancestandards are met.
- Provide operationaltraining to machine operators and maintenance staff.
- Perform preventive andcorrective maintenance to ensure reliable machine operation.
- Diagnose and troubleshootmechanical and basic electrical issues.
- Replace faulty componentsand make adjustments to restore machine functionality.
- Deliver remote andon-site technical support to clients.
- Resolve service requestspromptly and professionally.
- Build strong customerrelationships and deliver high levels of service.
- Identify serviceopportunities and promote AMCs during client interactions.
- Generate and follow up onAMC leads and renewals.
- Stay current on machineupgrades and new technologies.
- Attend training sessionsto enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Diploma or Degree inMechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experiencein servicing general industrial machinery.
- Proficiency in mechanicalsystems maintenance and fault diagnostics.
- Basic understanding ofelectrical and control systems is a plus.
- Strong communicationskills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Fluency in English andHindi; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel for field service.
