Position Details (Service Engineer)
- Location: Phoenix, AZ/Albuquerque, NM
- Pay: $35–40/hr+ (based on experience)
- Schedule: Compressed work week (front half / back half)
- Shifts: Days and nights available, 12-hour shifts
- Environment: Cleanroom setting requiring PPE and adherence to strict safety protocols
- Travel: Minimal mostly just for training
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform installation, start-up, maintenance, and repair of semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer sites
- Conduct preventive maintenance and system diagnostics to minimize downtime and improve tool performance
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Replace defective components and ensure proper system functionality
- Support equipment relocations, upgrades, and process improvements
- Work in confined cleanroom environments while following all safety and compliance standards
- Collaborate with senior engineers for advanced troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Maintain accurate service documentation, reports, and system updates
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships while representing the company professionally
- Participate in on-the-job training (OJT) and continuous learning to stay current on equipment and processes
- Execute assigned tasks with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
