Field Service Technician I

Description

Field Service Technician I is responsible for performing installation maintenance technical support and repair tasks on equipment and systems at customer sites. This role supports senior technicians and service Engineers in delivering high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation testing and commissioning of equipment at customer locations.
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of mechanical electrical or electronic systems.
• Document service activities including work performed parts used and customer interactions.
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand issues and provide updates.
• Support senior technicians & engineers in complex service tasks and learn advanced techniques.
• Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Drive timely identification investigation resolution root cause analysis and replication of technical issues
• Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and product knowledge.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures during all field operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain tools equipment and service vehicle (if applicable) in good condition.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Electronics or related field).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in field service or technical support on multi systems such as control systems or automation technologies Security and CCTV system etc.
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in relevant technologies.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and troubleshooting techniques and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently work flexible hours and travel frequently.
• Valid drivers license (if applicable).
