About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to lead all financial and accounting activities within the maritime business.

The role will oversee financial reporting vessel accounting budgeting forecasting cash flow management and financial controls while supporting operational and commercial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting and financial reporting activities.
• Oversee vessel accounting and voyage-related financial transactions.
• Manage monthly quarterly and annual financial closing processes.
• Prepare management reports and financial performance analyses.
• Lead budgeting forecasting and business planning activities.
• Monitor cash flow liquidity and working capital requirements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage relationships with auditors banks and external stakeholders.
• Develop and strengthen internal controls and governance processes.
• Support commercial and operational teams with financial insights and analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of finance and accounting experience within the maritime/shipping industry.
• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or related field.
• A professional accounting qualification (ACCA CPA CMA ACA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Previous experience within a shipping company ship management company or vessel-owning organization is required.
• Strong knowledge of vessel accounting and shipping finance.
• Experience in budgeting forecasting financial reporting and cash flow management.
• Strong analytical and business partnering skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge.
• Native/Advanced level of Turkish & Fluent English.
