Our recruiting team is conducting a confidential search for a Finance Lead – Financial Insights & Consulting with a highly respected global professional services organization headquartered in New York.

This is an opportunity for an experienced finance professional to serve as a strategic analytical partner to senior business leaders, translating complex financial and operational data into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze financial performance and business trends to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement
• Build and maintain complex financial and analytical models
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to address complex financial and business questions
• Lead firmwide and cross-functional financial projects from concept through implementation
• Develop standardized reporting and analytical tools that improve efficiency, consistency, and decision-making
• Leverage large datasets and business intelligence tools to synthesize information and communicate meaningful conclusions
• Present financial insights clearly to stakeholders at varying levels of the organization
• Establish and document analytical methodologies, processes, and reporting procedures
• Handle highly confidential financial, business, and proprietary information with discretion
• Mentor, train, and support other members of the finance/analytics function

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, finance, accounting, FP&A, or a related professional-services environment
• Demonstrated experience owning projects or strategic initiatives
• At least 2 years of experience leading projects or initiatives
• Experience mentoring, training, or coaching colleagues
• Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with complex financial data
• Experience with SAP BusinessObjects or comparable business intelligence/reporting tools is highly desirable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently while effectively partnering with stakeholders across an organization
• Strong project management, organization, and problem-solving skills

The Ideal Background

We are particularly interested in professionals who have experience in FP&A, financial analysis, finance business partnering, financial consulting, financial analytics, or professional services finance .

Candidates should be comfortable moving beyond reporting to understanding the "why" behind the numbers and translating analysis into business insights.
