Job Title: Fire Shift Leader
Location: Ras Abu Fontes Power Station, Qatar

Job Function: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fire safety team during their assigned shift at Nebras Energy. Lead the team in conducting fire inspections, ensuring compliance with fire safety policies, and responding to emergency incidents effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the activities of the fire safety team during assigned shifts, ensuring all fire safety inspections and audits are conducted according to schedule and standards.
- Supervise the identification of potential fire hazards and the assessment of risk levels across operational and non-operational areas within the facility.
- Ensure the team's adherence to fire safety policies and procedures and report any instances of non-compliance or operational concerns to the Head of Fire Section.
- Guide and support the fire safety team in investigating fire incidents, determining causes, and developing corrective and preventive strategies.
- Act as a key point of contact during real fire incidents, providing expert support, coordination, and leadership to ensure efficient and safe resolution of emergencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Safety, or a related field from a reputable university is mandatory.
- 8 years of experience in similar roles in large companies within the Energy or Power sector is mandatory.
- At least 3 years of experience in positions of progressively increasing managerial/supervisory responsibilities.
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability and analytical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated hands-on operational and implementation experience.
- Good understanding of power/energy and water sectors, emerging trends and technologies.
- English proficiency (Mandatory), while Arabic language skills are a plus.
- Good understanding of Qatar and GCC culture and working environment.
