Job Title: Floorman –Offshore Jackup Rig
Location: Offshore Qatar (North Field, Halul Island, or ContractedRigs)
Employment Type: Rotational (e.g., 45 days on/28 days off)
Reporting To: Driller / Rig Floor Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
- Assist indrilling, tripping, andcasing operations under the Driller’s direction.
- Handledrill pipes, collars, and BHAcomponents during connections.
- Maintainrig floor cleanliness toprevent slips/trips hazards.
2. Equipment Maintenance
- Performdaily inspections ofrig floor equipment (e.g., drawworks, catwalks, rotary table).
- Assist inpreventive maintenance (lubrication,minor repairs).
- Report defects to theAssistantDriller or Toolpusher .
3. Deck & General Labor Support
- Assist inloading/un unloading supplyvessels (casing, drilling mud, tools).
- Work withroustabouts to movematerials on deck.
Requirements
Qualifications & Certifications
Mandatory:
- 2+ years experience as Floorman/Roughneck (offshorepreferred).
- BOSIET/FOET with HUET (Offshore Survival & HelicopterEscape).
- Qatar Ministry of Public Health MedicalCertificate .
Preferred:
- IWCF Level 1 (Well Control Awareness).
- Rigging/Slinging Certification (for cargo operations).
- Arabic language basics (helpful but not required).
Expected Salary in Qatar (2025)
$ 150 / day
