Forklift Operator
Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with a prominent client in the landscaping supply industry, is seeking a Forklift Operator in the Lakeview MI area.
Forklift Operator Job Summary:
- Shift: 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM Mon-Thur and sometimes Fri
- Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
- Operate forklifts in accordance with company procedures and safety regulations
- Pick, stage, load, and unload products for shipment
- Move materials, pallets, and crates throughout the facility
- Ensure loads are secure and properly stored
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Inspect products for damage and report shortages or safety concerns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
Forklift Operator Qualifications: - High school diploma or GED preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Previous forklift operating experience preferred
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Excellent attendance and work history
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform bending, stooping, standing, and walking throughout the shift
- Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on the season
- Reliable transportation
