This is a customer-facing technical role in Doha. The person gets Devin and Windsurf working inside customers' real engineering teams, from first demo and pilot through integration and everyday use. A strong candidate writes and debugs real code in a language like Python or TypeScript, talks comfortably with both engineers and executives, and works without close direction. Travel across the MENA region takes up about half the time.
The work centers on helping engineering teams hand real tasks to an AI software agent, so the job is partly about finding which tasks suit it and fixing what blocks it in production. AI can take on much of the routine coding, but deciding where it fits, earning trust from customer teams, and judging when something is not working stay human. Listening to customers and turning their needs into product direction also depends on people.
Daily work with an autonomous coding agent and an AI-native editor, used by many different customer teams, gives close sight of what these tools do well and where they fall short. To build toward this role, try using AI coding tools on real projects, write down what breaks, and practice explaining the results to other engineers. Setting up integrations and pilots in varied customer environments adds hands-on deployment experience.
