We are seeking an experienced React Front-End UI Developer with a proven track record of delivering Share Point Online (SPO) custom front-end projects to join our team to build "Connect22," our brand-new, customized modern intranet portal. In this role, you will be responsible for translating Figma designs into pixel-perfect, highly responsive, and modular React components.
Key Responsibilities
- Figma-to-SPO React Conversion: Translate Figma layouts (including the Homepage, News, Org Chart, and Directory) into clean, production-ready React functional components using Type Script, maintaining flexibility to adapt to minor visual adjustments.
- Modular, Scoped Styling: Write maintainable, clean SCSS using CSS Modules ((Component Name).module.scss) to ensure custom styles are completely isolated and never leak or conflict with Share Point Online's global out-of-the-box styling.
- Modern UI Controls: Replace generic HTML inputs with Microsoft's Fluent UI React components to ensure seamless rendering.
- Mobile-First & Responsive Web Design: Build fluid, flexible layouts (flexbox/grid) that render flawlessly across desktop, tablet, and small mobile viewports (Safari, Chrome, and the native Share Point Mobile App).
- Share Point Integration Handshake: Coordinate directly with the backend developer to define Type Script component props and data-binding structures to seamlessly feed Share Point list data into your custom UI.
You will work closely with our Senior Share Point Online Developer to integrate your custom UI code directly into the Share Point Framework (SPFx) and accommodate minor iterative design updates as the project progresses. You must be an expert in scoped CSS modules, responsive web design, and developing custom interfaces specifically tailored for deployment inside modern Share Point Online.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in React (v17/v18) and Type Script.
- Mandatory: Proven experience working on custom UI development for Share Point or Share Point Online (SPO) projects.
- Strong expertise in HTML5, SCSS/CSS Grid/Flexbox, and CSS Modules.
- Deep familiarity with the Fluent UI React framework (v8/v9).
Solid understanding of responsive design best practices, touch-target sizing, and mobile Web View constraints inside the native Share Point Mobile App
