Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and skilled Frontend Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands‑on experience in modern frontend development, with expert‑level knowledge of Next.js and a solid understanding of coding, development tools, and software technologies.
The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing responsive and user‑friendly web applications while working closely with the development and other relevant teams.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain modern, responsive, and user‑friendly web applications.
- Build scalable frontend applications using Next.js.
- Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and well‑structured code.
- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and other team members.
- Convert UI/UX designs into functional web interfaces.
- Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, and cross‑browser compatibility.
- Identify and troubleshoot frontend issues and bugs.
- Ensure applications follow modern coding and development standards.
- Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies, tools, frameworks, and best practices.
- Participate in testing, debugging, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of applications.
Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional frontend development experience.
- Strong professional experience with Next.js and React.
- Strong understanding of Next.js App Router.
- Practical experience with React Server Components and Client Components.
- Strong understanding of React Hooks and component lifecycle.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience building reusable components and custom React hooks.
- Strong understanding of server‑side and client‑side rendering.
- Experience with Next.js data fetching, caching, revalidation, and API integration.
- Experience working with REST APIs and JSON‑based services.
- Understanding of authentication and secure client/server communication.
- Strong understanding of responsive and accessible web development.
- Experience with Git and modern development tools.
- Strong debugging and problem‑solving skills.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization and Core Web Vitals.
- Understanding of modern web security practices.
- Ability to translate technical requirements and UI/UX designs into production‑ready solutions.
Preferred Technical Experience Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:
- Next.js App Router
- React Server Components (RSC)
- Server Actions
- React Hooks and custom hooks
- TypeScript
- Tailwind CSS
- shadcn/ui or similar component libraries
- React Query / TanStack Query
- Zustand or similar state‑management solutions
- Zod or similar schema‑validation libraries
- REST APIs
- Authentication systems such as NextAuth/Auth.js or equivalent
- Playwright, Cypress, Jest, or React Testing Library
- ESLint, Prettier, and modern code‑quality tooling
- Docker and CI/CD workflows
- Experience working with Figma and design systems
Preferred Requirements - The ideal candidate should be an Arabic speaker.
- Own Visa preferred but not mandatory.
- Valid Emirates ID preferred.
- Candidates currently based in the UAE are preferred due to the onsite nature of the position.
What We Are Looking For The ideal candidate should be technically strong, detail‑oriented, and capable of taking ownership of frontend development tasks. Strong practical knowledge of Next.js, coding standards, development tools, and modern web technologies is essential.
